Here's part 2 of my trip to Kudat which is The Tip of Borneo.
It takes about 30 minutes to reach to the junction of Kampung Mengayau as the locals call it.
Simpang Mengayau actually means 'lingering junction'.
It is here that the South China Sea lingers and meets the Sulu Seas flowing from the east.
At the Tip of Borneo located inside Tanjung Simpang Mengayau of Kudat,
you can see the breath-taking view of wide and open coastline.
I'm not gonna describe much about my pictures. So just watch it and decide for yourself :)
Here's the view from the beach along the way to the tip.
There was also a group of tourist who was there to enjoy the view as well as the beautiful beach of Pantai Kalampunian.
As you can see, there's a short walk before you reach the famous bronze Globe.
First views of the tip :)
The rocky outcrop that forms the "Tip of Borneo".
The edge of the tip :)
Considered as one of the most beautiful spots in Sabah, and all the work is done by the nature.
It truly is one of the places you'd called, a must-visit :)
Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Well, that's it on my post on Kudat :)
All and all, it was a really enjoyable trip.
To those who hasn't been there yet, go check it out.
You won't regret it!
Anyways, stay tuned for my next post which most likely would be on the Prefects Dinner 2011 :)
